Hello there. I started a little series of paintings of churches last year which prompted a conversation with some pals about religion and the nature of belief. This has eventually lead me to a new series of Hester paintings featuring Lighthouses. These don't just reflect (pun intended) the work done by those wondrous people that keep our coasts safe, especially considering the weather recently, but regardless of your personal beliefs and convictions these are intended to remind you of the people in your life that steadfastly act as beacons of warmth hope safety and light. Produced using archival Ultrachrome inks on Hahnemuehle German Etching, a heavyweight (310gsm) fine art paper which is slightly textured. Only 50 of each size will be printed.
