Once again Hester and Oscar are back in the Forest at the Woodcutters Cottage. With reference to the smaller cat shadow Richards says

"Whenever I paint a kitten with Oscar it's a reference to my son Felix (who is far from kitten-sized!) Wherever I go Felix is never far from my mind and this is what is meant by the extra silhouette. Although Oscar is with Hester on their continuing journey he is still thinking of his family and in that way they travel with him. There's never anything terribly sinister in the paintings."

Produced using archival Ultrachrome inks on Hahnemuehle German Etching, a heavyweight (310gsm) fine art paper which is slightly textured. Only 50 of each size will be printed.
